The walk will start with a bus journey from Dursley Bus Station at May Lane to a point close to Sharpness docks. We will then head off to follow the River Severn south for a distance finally leaving to go inland to Berkeley. From the village we will pass across the Vale of Berkeley to Newport and on to Stinchcombe. The route will finally meet with the Cotswold Way and climb up onto Stinchcombe Hill and then back down through the woods into Dursley.
Wildlife on the banks of the River Severn. Views of Berkeley Castle and the AONB Vale of Berkeley. Views of the Severn Valley and the Welsh Mountains beyond from the Cotswold Edge.
Refreshments and a packed lunch. Your bus pass if you have one and a face mask to wear on the bus please.
