Meet at the bus stop next to Sainsburys. We will use the smartphone based Geocache Adventure Lab app to find information at 5 points in Dursley. A correct answer for each reveals the description of the next location to visit. After answering all 5 correctly, the location of a physical geocache is revealed. This is fun for children to be ‘in charge’ of the smartphone to follow the route. The walk is all on hard surfaces (eg pavements) and requires some road crossings.
There is additional parking today for this walk in the nearby Community Centre car park.
We will discover a few of the historical aspects of the centre of Dursley.
At least one person in each group must have a geocaching.com account, and have downloaded the Geocaching Adventure Lab app to their smartphone.

Booking this walk
Our goal is to provide a free walking festival for the local community and visitors to our beautiful countryside. We also work on projects throughout the year to improve access to walking activities.
