Map to start point:
This walk is the western loop of the Figure of Eight Cotswold Gateway walk.
From the Market Place, we will ascend up to Stinchcombe hill, take in the magnificent views around the edge of the hill and descend down to Stinchcombe Church.
We follow the side of the valley, running parallel with the M5 before snaking our way back to Upthorpe. Finally we cross Cam Meadows to St Georges Church and make our way back to Dursley, in time for tea and cakes.
There is additional parking today for this walk in the nearby Community Centre car park.
The Dursley Walking Festival always ends with tea and cakes in the Methodist church hall. Our walk will be timed to finish when they start serving at 3pm.

Our goal is to provide a free walking festival for the local community and visitors to our beautiful countryside. We also work on projects throughout the year to improve access to walking activities.
