Map to start point:
The walk skirts Cam village and passes some of the stone stiles, unusual in an area where hedges are the principal field boundary. After a fairly long uphill section the walk becomes easier and there are views of the lower Severn Valley, the Cotswold escarpment, a distant Gloucester Cathedral, the Malverns and the Forest of Dean. There are stiles which need some agility.
There are places remaining on this walk. To join this free walk click below. You will then be able to enter the number of places you would like (up to a max of 6).
Our goal is to provide a free walking festival for the local community and visitors to our beautiful countryside. We also work on projects throughout the year to improve access to walking activities.
Only if you are able, please consider making a donation online to allow this to continue in 2025.
Please note everyone is invited to book, attend and enjoy the festival regardless.
