Details of the walk:

A new dimension for this year as we take too seeing our beautiful town at night.

Our journey will take us through public footpaths and lamp lit streets. We will make our way from the centre of town up to Cam Peak to take in the lights of Dursley before we descend back into Dursley in a circular loop.

This walk will give confidence of walking in the dark too see nature in a different light

Walking at night brings a different perspective to the paths and trails that we tread daily.

Head or Chest Torch is strongly recommended for your own safety.

Dogs are not permitted on the walk, except for registered assistance dogs.  This is for the comfort and safety of all the walkers in the group.

Accommodation

If you need somewhere to stay during the festival, contact the Ashen Plains campsite. They have pitches for tents and caravans and also shepherd hut style accommodation.

Our goal is to provide a free walking festival for the local community and visitors to our beautiful countryside. We also work on projects throughout the year to improve access to walking activities.

Only if you are able, please consider making a donation online to allow this to continue in 2024. 

Please note everyone is invited to book, attend and enjoy the festival regardless.
