Details of the walk:

A great ramble around the near countryside of Dursley using well trodden footpaths through fields and woods with wonderful views.

We leave the Market Place along the Cotswold Way, crossing the fields pass Chestal House to the Uley Road. Continuing along a track we rise up to the saddle between Cam Peak and Long Down. We then descend through the wood to the road and across into the Nature Reserve. We follow the footpath across the fields and down to Upper Cam.

We will stroll along the river and over the bridge on a picturesque route through part of Littlecombe to Kingshill road. The route continues along the footpath through the trees merging near Rednock School returning to the start via the recreation ground, just in time for tea and cake in the Methodist Church Hall.

Special areas of interest:
The Dursley Walking Festival always ends with tea and cakes in the Methodist church hall from 3 pm.
