Details of the walk:

This is a scenic and interesting typically Cotswold walk of just under 12 miles. We climb out of Avening for far reaching views and progress through woods, fields, lanes and tracks.

We will have a short snack break when we reach Nailsworth and then go through the grounds of Ruskin Mill with its water features, sculptures and interesting plants. We pass through the hamlets of Downend and Tickmorend and head across open countryside to Nympsfield Church where we stop for our packed lunch.

Next is Uley via Cockadilly before returning to Dursley along the Ewelme River in time for a well earned pint in The Old Spot.

Please note the following information for this walk:
  • Please bring drinks and refreshments
  • Please bring a packed lunch
  • Coach transport will take you from the meeting point to the start of the walk

Please note everyone is invited to book, attend and enjoy the festival regardless.
